Blocks D and E


Blocs D and E

 

Stahlbau Queck engineers, delivers and erects the main steel structure for the coal feeding system and the gypsum removal of the Power Plant Westphalia. The whole work order consists of 40 units. The following ones can be pointed out:

 

  • Power Houses of the blocs D and E with crane runway – each 650 t 
  • a carbon band bridge for 2 conveyor belts (300 meter long and 60 meter high,   bended at 2 axis) with 1.500 t 
  • a band bridge for ship loading with 600 t

 

The gross weight of the order is about 8.000 t with contract value of 35 million Euro. 

Completion of the whole project is panned for the end of 2010.
