Claus Queck GmbH got the order of 1.770 t steel construction for the roof of the new O2 ARENA in Berlin.
One of Europes ultra-modern multipurpose halls will be built in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, a favoured Berlin district near to the eastern railway station.
17,000 seats and 59 entertainment suites as well as conference suites and party suits will leave nothing to be desired.
The ARENA can be changed from a concert hall to an ice-hockey arena within a short time.
Sports, entertainment and music will be celebrated from September 2008 on.
The costs for the whole project mount up to 150 Million Euro.
24 month are planned for the completion of the building.
